The qualifications for this position are as follows: Qualifications . A minimum of three years experience in the sales and/or management of employee benefits required . Ethics, knowledge, interpretation and application of laws, regulations, company policies, best business practices related to employee benefit products . Associate Employee Benefit Specialist Contract required . Must hold a current Oregon and Washington insurance license . Bachelor?s degree desired . Demonstrates leadership to motivate and hold others accountable . High degree of initiative . Excellent interpersonal skills . Superior written and oral communication skills . High level of organizational skills . Ability to take independent action and make sound decisions . Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required . Flexibility ? Be punctual to all appointments, both in and out of the office . Be able to take directions Responsibilities 1. Keep up-to-date with market and industry changes and advancements 2. Serve as renewal broker to clients: . Communicate industry changes . Prepare and evaluate renewal proposals . Oversee all aspects of renewal process . Make joint renewal calls when appropriate . Oversee carrier renewal materials . Offer additional lines of coverage at renewal . Oversee quarterly client communication . Coordinate quarterly service calls 3.
