Description:
The Senior Compensation Analyst will support the design and review of the University’s compensation programs. This individual will ensure that day to day administration and processes are in compliance with University policies and procedures and all federal and state rules and regulations governing the University’s compensation for staff employee groups. The Senior Compensation Analyst will conduct job evaluations of revised or new position descriptions, seeking input from management on specific accountabilities for the positions.  Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Partner with HR staff to determine meaningful data gathering/analysis and reporting to ensure management decisions on total rewards are consistent with University’s strategy and overall goals. Coordinate university-wide audit of all compensation programs to ensure market competitiveness and compliance. Conduct job evaluation analysis for staff positions as required. Participate in compensation projects by conducting needs analysis including gap analysis, recommendations for improvement and cost impact on current programs. Work with other compensation and benefits staff to review, enhance or re-design existing compensation programs. Support the annual salary planning cycle for all staff positions in the University. Develop communication processes to ensure timely implementation of performance evaluation process and coordination with the merit review process.  Develop automated total compensation cost impact review for the University. Ensure salary plan is on time and on budget while achieving equity goals. Help develop, document and keep up to date all compensation pay processes. Complete external salary survey submission for several third party surveys. Perform project management activity for various human resource initiatives dealing with total pay and the University's compensation programs.Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science or equivalent education and experience. A minimum of 4 years of experience with progressive responsibility working in the administration of compensation programs within a large organization.Hands on expertise and thorough knowledge of compensation administration regulations including FLSA and DOL regulations. Our customers rely on NAVTEQ digital map information for use in their applications based on its accuracy, detail and completeness.  We are currently looking for a Sr. HRIS Analyst – 16375 in Chicago, IL. Position Summary:  The Taleo Administrator will maintain and enhance the Taleo ATS. This position will function as the first line of in-house support for Taleo users including recruiters, hiring managers and applicants by addressing business process and utilization questions.  This will include providing internal customer deliverables, communications, training and interaction with all levels HR and business units.  The incumbent will be a key participant in conceptualizing system related process changes, and will be the primary owner of talent acquisition metrics and reporting, as well as supporting other headcount related metrics and reporting. Responsibilities:·         Act as a key point person for Taleo issue escalation·         Oversee incident submittal management with Taleo Customer Support·         Manage user types/groups and permissions·         Reporting on Staffing metrics/dashboard utilizing Taleo/HRMS Reporting Tools (Business Objects); including job status and aging, cycle time, source effectiveness, cost/hire, etc·         Job opening maintenance·         Monthly headcount reporting (excluding forecasting)·         Quarterly metrics reporting for Nokia (specifically attrition and hires)·         Support integration with other HR systems·         Job Template creation·         Upkeep on applicant workflows (design and modification)·         Manage candidate selection workflows·         Create/modify career sections·         Correspondence conceptualization and creation·         System optimization·         Develop process and administer regular system audits to identify and mitigate data integrity issues and ensure compliance·         User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system and integration modifications Requirements:·         Bachelors degree·         3-5 years experience working as technical point of contact for Taleo applicant tracking system·         Taleo Certified System Administrator (TCSA) ·         Taleo Certified Reporting Analyst (TCRA)·         Experience with Business Objects Reporting·         PeopleSoft and PeopleSoft integration experience a plus·         Proven expertise in HR Staffing and On-boarding processes·         HRIS experience and HR applications expertise·         Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated ability to conduct large group meetings·         Strong Project Management with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities·         Strong organization and communication skills·         Strong process management, project management, analytical and problem-solving skills·         Advanced skills with Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel and PowerPoint required; Visio preferred  NAVTEQ is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/D/V
