We currently have an excellent career-oriented opportunity in our Global Operations Center in Wheeling, WV for a PeopleSoft HRIS Analyst with functional PeopleSoft experience. Under the general direction of the Manager, HR Systems and Process Improvement, provide consultative hands-on functional, reporting and technical support for PeopleSoft HCM users. Analyze business requirements and identify system solutions to meet those requirements. Participate in project teams to deliver business solutions. Responsibilities: ? Perform configuration, setup and testing support for new modules and business processes. ? Administer role-level system security and workflow configurations. ? Educate functional-users, super-users and self-service users on core HR business processes. ? Design reports to fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests. ? Develop system specifications for projects to meet new business requirements. ? Working with the Manager, HR Systems and Process Improvement, participate in project planning and administration, including issue tracking, project roll-out, communications and end-user training. ? Develop test plans to ensure reliable project implementation. ? Participate on project teams for large strategic projects including an upgrade to PS HCM 9.1 and implementations of new modules and Recruiting Solutions. Qualifications: ? Bachelors Degree required. ? 3-5 years business analysis experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM, including a comprehensive understanding of the PeopleSoft modules HR, Payroll and Benefits business processes, set-up tables and best practices required. ? Working knowledge of PeopleTools (Query), Crystal Reports, MS SQL and other related technical components of PeopleSoft required. ? Understanding of HR/Payroll regulations to assist in regulatory monitoring and reporting required. ? Excellent interpersonal communication and customer-service skills required. Handles all aspects of PeopleSoft, the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), including but not limited to: generating bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, researching and resolving payroll issues, the definition, creation and maintenance of all HR and Management Reporting. Generates monthly HR reports and ad-hoc reports using PeopleSoft Query and Crystal. Reviews reports for accuracy and assists with issues resolution. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* - Generates bi-weekly and monthly payrolls utilizing PeopleSoft Payroll Interface and works with Benefits, Payroll and HR users to resolve payroll issues. - Generates, researches and resolves data issues on payroll audit reports. - Generates monthly HR reports and ad-hoc reports using PeopleSoft Query and Crystal, reviews reports for accuracy and assists with issues resolution. - Designs and implements HRIS audit procedures to test quality, accuracy, completeness and timeliness of data entry. - Participates in the recommendation, design, testing, and impact analysis of all changes to HR system. Conducts thorough testing of new functionality. - Assists with the implementation of new PeopleSoft modules in PeopleSoft and system testing during PeopleSoft upgrades. - Acts as subject matter expert to the field for data entry, system and data interaction and process improvement. - Provides back-up support for PeopleSoft data entry. - Monitors the integrity of HR data through analysis, research and comparisons between other firm systems. - Maintains requisite level of skill on HRIS and other data management software used in the department. - Strives to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems and tools and looks for alternatives that better meet business needs. -Contributes to the Firm's ServiceMatters initiative to consistently improve its image internally and externally. Displays professionalism, quality service and a "can do" attitude to internal members/departments of the Firm as well as external clients and vendors via electronic and print correspondence, over the telephone and in-person. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Thorough knowledge of formal principles and practices in human resources as applied to human resources information systems. - Thorough knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS 8.8, including Payroll Interface & Benefits Administration. - Demonstrated ability to use a variety of query, reporting, spreadsheet, and database tools effectively to produce routine and complex outputs for users. - Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressure. - Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable lay terms. - Excellent analytical skills including the ability to compile, review, and determine logical conclusions or recommendations based on data and information that is varied in content and format. - Strong interpersonal skills, as necessary to work effectively with people at all levels. - Ability to manage confidential information with discretion. Regularly deals with confidential information; communication content frequently pertains to private information, managerial and administrative actions; information managed requires the application of appropriate judgment and discretion. - Superior attention to detail, problem solving capabilities, initiative, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. - Demonstrated ability to effectively use PC-based and on-line technology, HRIS, database, presentation, and spreadsheet software currently in use at WilmerHale. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. Education: - College degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems or related discipline required. Equivalent experience in a corporate human resources department may be considered in lieu of a degree in Human Resources or related discipline. Experience: - Minimum 2-4 years experience PeopleSoft experience (in addition to that listed above), including Payroll Interface and Benefits Administration.
