Community Research Foundation EMPLOYEE RELATIONS SPECIALIST An excellent career opportunity with growth potential is available at our Corporate Office located in the Bay Park area near Sea World Drive. The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for coordinating and supporting the employee relations functions for Community Research Foundation (CRF) and the Psychiatric Emergency Response Team (PERT). This position reports to the Human Resources Manager and jointly conducts investigations and supports management in the resolution of policy, performance, and communications issues; assists management with job descriptions, performance appraisals, and discipline and/or development plans; provides recruitment support, and coordinates the new hire clearance, documentation and onboarding process. In addition, the ER Specialist also helps to develop and conduct HR training, manages the leave of absence tracking and communications, and coordinates the workers? compensation program. This position will also perform legal research and make recommendations to management; periodically conduct HR audits to ensure compliance and best practices are in place; and acts as a general HR resource to employees and managers. The successful candidate will be able to work with employees and managers at all levels within the organization to provide a positive, HR customer service experience. The person holding this position must be a strong administrator with exceptional customer service and organizational skills; able to multi-task, prioritize, and operate independently; as well as prepare high-level communications and status reports. Required for this exciting position is a PHR Certification or Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources or related field. In addition, a minimum of 3 years HR experience, to include extensive Employee Relations, Workers? Compensation and Performance Management will be necessary. Professional level communications, both written and verbal, is essential. Intermediate level proficiency with MS Office, specifically: Outlook, Powerpoint, Word and Excel. At least 6 months experience utilizing an HRIS database, and familiarity with Abra a definite plus. Immigration documentation experience preferred but not necessary.
