HR Administrator ? 038720 Job Description Description The HR Administrator will assist in a variety of duties in the Human Resources Department.  Among the areas of responsibility can include:  PeopleSoft data entry, Payroll, Benefits administration, Support Hourly Recruiting, Performance Management tracking, and File Management. ·         Provide exceptional customer service to both hourly associates and managers including answering questions (both verbally and in e-mail), on the floor visibility and focus on improving processes for better customer   experience. ·         Focus on continuous improvement within areas of responsibility to ensure processes are efficient and effective. ·         Data entry in our Peoplesoft and other HRIS systems for new hires, terminations, etc. ·         Support benefits administration with both answering questions, resolving associate issues and keying of benefits into Peoplesoft. ·         Support hourly recruiting/hiring. ·         Support payroll processes. ·         Conduct portions of new hire orientations. ·         Trouble shooting of HRIS systems including diagnosing potential problems, submitting remedy tickets and working with appropriate teams to resolve. ·         Handle additional projects as assigned.  Qualifications Human Resources experience required - 1 year minimum.  Experience in Payroll, Benefits, Worker’s Comp. and/or HRIS required. MS Office proficiency – Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.  College degree preferred. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding personal, benefits, and employee issues. Outstanding interpersonal skills: must display patience, humor and helpfulness at all times – front line of employee issues. Ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines, and stressful situations. Detail oriented: accuracy is essential. Ability to work independently and be flexible to help cover other HR issues as they arise. Must be available to work overtime, including Sat, Sun and nights. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: · 5+ years experience as an HR Administrator in a manufacturing environment. · Extensive successful experience in labor management and union issues in a continuous process manufacturing setting. · Experience in talent management (including recruitment, retention, development, performance management), union avoidance, · Compensation and benefits administration, training and employee relations. · Sound knowledge of State and Federal Employment Laws.
