Location:                    Las Vegas, Nevada (LAS2)   Job Description: The HR Administrator will assist in a variety of duties in the Human Resources Department.  Among the areas of responsibility will include: Administering attendance system, payroll corrections, PeopleSoft entry, Benefits administration, performance reporting/tracking, and onboarding/orientation of hires.   Timely follow up with employees, area managers, agencies, and Amazon.com payroll department on any issues or concerns.Provide tracking & reporting on attendance, overtime, time offAct as a liaison between leadership team and associates to resolve issues.Answer frequent employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, scheduling, etcSupport employee relations activities: celebrations/meals, food/water distribution, activitiesDaily maintenance of HR and payroll systems: enter new employee data and update current associate information.  Identify discrepancies and discuss with area managers.  Answer frequent employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, scheduling, etc. Distribute paychecks.Support maintenance of clean on-site Human Resources files.  Must make sure electronic and paper files are in compliance with corporate and federal guidelines regarding new hires, employee terminations, pay raises, transfers and promotions.Complete projects such as hourly wage evaluations, headcount auditsContact person for badge issues.Trouble shooting of HRIS systems.Handle additional projects as assigned.      Qualifications: Human Resources experience required (2-3 year minimum preferred). Prior generalist experience a strong plus. Experience in Payroll, Benefits, Worker’s Compensation, and HR information systems required. MS Office proficiency is critical to success in this job – Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and especially Excel. Degree preferred, with a preference for a specialization in Human Resources or related field Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues. Outstanding interpersonal skills: must display patience, humor and helpfulness at all times – front line of employee issues. Ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines, and stressful situations. Detail oriented: accuracy is essential. Ability to work independently and be flexible to help cover other HR issues as they arise. Must be available to work overtime when needed, including Sat, Sun, and nights.
