Human Resources Administrator Department: Human Resources Reports To: Human Resource Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Summary: Assists the Human Resource Department through administrative and clerical duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Records employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason. Processes employment applications and assists in other employment activities, including recruiting of various positions. Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses. Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons. Compiles data from personnel records and prepares reports. Administers and scores aptitude and personality tests. Computes wages and records data for use in payroll processing. Compiles and maintains records for use in employee benefits administration. Maintaining, following and fostering Federal, State and Local laws, as well as company policies and procedures. Assists the department in various projects and initiatives. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Assist in creating and maintaining documented HR business systems procedures. Assist department personnel with questions concerning the HR business systems. May train new employees on system use and inform/train users as new releases and software revisions occur. Provide suggestions and assistance in process improvements.Create ad hoc reports for functional business areas.
