Job Title: Human Resources Assistant Military Company: Location: Elmendorf AFB, AK Description: The primary purpose of this position is to perform a wide variety of both procedural and substantive clerical work supporting one or more military personnel program, operations, or functions, e.g. recruitment, induction, assignment, training, utilization, or separation. Processes standards actions for assigned area such as assignment, enlistment, reenlistment, promotion, awards, performance evaluation, routine boards, separation, or similar matters and performs a substantive review of records to determine eligibility for actions. Reviews reports, forms, documentation, and other related information concerning Air Force members and constructs/maintains military personnel records or portion pertinent to assigned area. Updates, inquires, and processes actions through the Personnel Data System and Defense Joint Military Pay System. Performs clerical support to ensure efficient office operations.

Job Title: Human Resources Technician (tech) Military Oa Company: Location: Fort Richardson, AK Description: As the senior technician, you will plan work to be accomplished and provide advice, counseling and guidance. You will provide technical support and assistance in processing personnel actions. Prepares and assembles written correspondence. Ensures compliance with regulations, procedures, directives and DA guidance. Maintains files on actions. Uses office automation software to produce documents. Interviews personnel and obtains additional information from previously completed files and records to make initial determination of eligibility of the individual for the requested action based upon technical knowledge and applicable regulations. Completes personnel actions in final form. Tracks and ensures completion of military personnel management actions.
