Duties and Responsibilities of the Job: The Racine County Workforce Development Center's Business Services Team offers a wide variety of services and programs to local employers, most at no fee. You will serve your assigned employers as a Business Consultant. This involves contacting them via telephone and in person to explain and provide services that assist them in attracting, training, and retaining employees to help them meet business targets. You will respond to their requests for assistance and information as well. Examples of services: creation of recruitment plans, on-site recruitment events, representation at Job Fairs, research, job skills information and training resources and incentives. You will also provide knowledge of and referral to community/state resources relating to business practices and training opportunities. The Team hosts a variety of Employer Workshops and you will assist with the planning and execution of these workshops. Experience/Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and three to five years of business experience with an emphasis in Human Resources and recruiting. Exposure to sales and marketing desired. This position will interface with Human Resources Staff at assigned companies located throughout Racine County. A professional demeanor is required as some interactions will involve upper level management. Knowledge of Racine County demographics and business climate required. In addition, you must have excellent computer skills. Proficiency in the use of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required. You will utilize Microsoft's Customer Resource Management (CRM) software to document employer contacts. Must have excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills and be able to handle multiple priorities. This position is located at the Racine County Workforce Center at 1717 Taylor Avenue, Racine, WI 53403. While this position is located at the Center, the successful candidate will be employed by the Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce (RAMAC).
