The incumbents are responsible for providing assistance in coordinating the design and implementation of plans, systems, and programs that allow employees to satisfy their needs for job security, engagement, recognition, and achievement in the pursuit of organizational objectives. Acting as a consultant, the HR Specialist will guide managers in consistent application of systems. Knowledge is attained by communicating team member concerns to leadership. The incumbent creates win-win situations between team members and Goodyear management by listening and planning methods of resolutions strategies. Assists in the development and employment of team member communications. This may include writing articles, seeking information from outside sources performing any research necessary. * Keep current on business statistics for the plant and participate in improvement projects. * Report on the effectiveness of plant programs, team meetings, task forces, etc. by formulating, conducting, and evaluating employee relations audits.
