Organizational Development Manager Qualifications: Required•Bachelors Degree in Organizational Development or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience•5+ years of recent experience creating and implementing organizational development strategies in a mid to large size organization. •Certification in one of more assessment/feedback instruments (e.g. MBTI, MBTI Step II, RIRO-B, 360 Assessment, Social Style profile, etc)2+ years of recent experience developing and managing succession and talent management practices across a system wide organization of 5000+ employees including senior and executive leaders. Preferred •Masters in OD or related discipline•Working in a hospital/healthcare environment a real plus Job Description: Responsible for managing the design, development, implementation and deployment of the system wide Organizational Development strategies and initiatives to improve the overall effectiveness of the company and the engagement of its employees. Manages the design, implementation of tools, and processes to execute Organizational, Leadership and Professional Development work. Will apply methodologies and approaches to strategic planning, organization design, change management, succession planning, performance management, and coaching, which align with Sr. Leadership's vision, mission and culture for the organization. Will facilitate coordinate and provide expert level project management in the development of change initiatives, metrics & analysis systems to measure performance results and implement processes for sharing best practices across the organization. •Define, built and implement succession planning strategies at Hoag. •Support the design, development and implementation of Hoag's leadership and professional development programs, including managing external vendor partners who assist Hoag in delivering learning experiences. Work with business units to customize programs to client needs. •Partner in the development of some executive leadership programs. •Collect and analyze data from employee engagement surveys, historical learning data and other assessments to identify critical learning and organization development issues and root causes. Identify barriers to organizational performance and partner with leadership to develop solutions and implement plans that address issues. •Manage the design, administration, analysis and action planning of the biannual employee engagement survey process, new hire and exit survey process. Provide data and reporting to leaders and employee relations to address organizational and business issues, strategies and practices. •Manage and improve upon Hoag's performance planning and evaluation process including the philosophy, competencies, tools and education. •Manage vendor partners on leadership development, learning and performance management systems, employee engagement surveys who assist in providing learning experiences. •Develop key metrics to measure effectiveness of system-wide initiatives. •Understand, design and analyze key metrics that support talent, diversity and performance management. •Participates and leads OD initiatives throughout the organizational, which include changes to structure, processes, systems and organizational culture. •Appropriately scope specific OD outcomes so that the key business case deliverables are met. •Develop change management plans and obtain agreement with the leader. •Drives the desired culture by understanding key business and resource drives and then leveraging organization interventions using an extensive range of tools and techniques. Is able to demonstrate clear linkage between intervention and outcome.
