Analyze the employee's basis for coming to EEO, complete an in-take package to determine their need, if the concerns are EEO or non-EEO issues, and the course of action to be taken. The incumbent will try to resolve the issue at the lowest level, which usually involves speaking with a supervisor or other parties, offering non-EEO mediation, or explaining the process of the Rapid Response Action Team and how the concerns can be addressed by the Team. As necessary the incumbent will call the supervisor/employee etc. to find out if they are willing to sit down with the employee to discuss the situation to try and resolve at the lowest level.
