The Operations, Intelligence and Security (OIS) Business Unit within the Intelligence, Security and Technology (IST) Group of SAIC has an opening for a Senior Recruiter in Hawaii. No Relocation assistance available. POSITION SUMMARY: The OIS Business Unit, with more than 3,400 professionals within the IST Group, serve customers in the U.S. Department of Defense, the intelligence community, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, other U.S. Government civil agencies and selected commercial markets. The chosen applicant will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment alongside other Recruiters and HR professionals supporting the recruitment and staffing goals of SAIC. The successful candidate will recruit for variety of skill sets, primarily in the Intelligence and Technology communities for candidates who possess security clearances. SAIC provides a diverse range of resources to attract potential qualified candidates. Key areas of responsibility include full life-cycle recruitment, managing effective relationships with hiring managers, and filling openings in a timely manner while adhering to all company staffing policies and procedures. Some travel may be required, primarily to attend career fairs and occasional staff meetings. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: •Interface with hiring managers to create and review job requisitions; assist with defining and validating key position requirements (i.e. defining education, experience, technical knowledge, and competencies), and validating job code selected by hiring manager. •Source, recruit, and prescreen candidates for a variety of skill sets and security clearance levels. •Review resumes of candidates submitting interest to open requisitions. •Assess candidates to determine whether their capabilities match job requirements. •Participate in interviews and integrate information gained about candidates with hiring manager to decide whether to extend a job offer. •Determine job offer details; negotiate, prepare, and extend new-hire offers. •Communicate offers or rejections to candidates. •Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future consideration. •Accurately document and track candidates in the applicant tracking system. •Develop and provide daily or weekly staffing reports. •Comply with government, SAIC, and human resources laws, policies, and procedures. •Monitor/audit job requisition and candidate files and be responsible for tracking applicant flow. •Establish trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility, integrity, and skilled communications with managers and staff. •Attend career fairs and networking events as required. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: •Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years related recruiting / staffing experience. •Ability to effectively network, source and hire candidates who possess security clearances. •Experience with Internet sourcing and posting, career fair participation, and various other recruiting sources. •Ability to be flexible and be able to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. •Strong organizational and attention to detail skills. •Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively provide valuable and timely customer service to candidates, line management and senior level management. •General human resources knowledge and understanding of common staffing metrics and functions. •Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook). •Experience with an automated applicant tracking system. •Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: •Familiarity with Recruitmax applicant tracking system. •Experience in a government contracting staffing environment. •Prior recruiting experience with AAP/EEO and outreach activities and knowledge of OFCCP and DCAA compliant staffing procedures. •Training and/or certifications in HR (PHR, SPHR), recruiting, sourcing, compensation, etc.
