The requirements and expectations for this position are:
*Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business need
*Interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education and job skills
*Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, and employee referrals
*Prepare and maintain employment records
*Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection
*Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities in organizations
*Screen and refer applicants to hiring personnel in the organization, making hiring recommendations when appropriate
*Review and evaluate applicant qualifications or eligibility for specified licensing, according to established guidelines and designated licensing codes
*Hire applicants and authorize paperwork assigning them to positions
*Conduct reference, background checks and drug screens on applicants
*Evaluate recruitment and selection criteria to ensure conformance to professional, statistical, and testing standards, recommending revision as needed

JOB SUMMARY: Contributes to the achievement of the company's mission by providing timely and effective human resource services for MJ Harden employees. Responsible for performing a variety of professional and administrative human resources functions in areas such as recruitment, compensation, employee relations, benefits, and corporate community relations. Responsibilities % of time Primary staffing recruiter for MJH including identification of target markets for recruiting efforts, advertising, screening of candidates, applicant flow tracking, scheduling and conducting interviews, relocations and compensation analysis for adequate and fair offers. Will assist in recruitiment process for Corporate GeoEye positions as needed. Establishes and negotiates contracts with temp agencies. Identifies and establishes college recruiting efforts. 35% Acts as the prime point of contact for site related employee relation issues and concerns. Will work diligently to resolve in a timely and effective manner while providing feedback and resolution to upper level MJH management and GeoEye HR management team. 5% Responsible for implanting corporate policies and procedures and increasing communications. 10% Conducts new hire orientations, completes employment verifications and facilitates background investigations. Conduct the exit interview/termination process. 5% Participates in assigned human resources projects. 15% Assists with annual health and welfare renewals & open enrollments. 5% Maintains personnel files and records to meet record retention and SOX/ISO requirements. 5% Works closely with MJH management to develop an employee-oriented company culture. Manages employee morale for MJH. Coordinates events, employee involvement and community outreach opportunities. 10% Manage creation of GeoEye Gazette 5% Other duties as assigned. 5% Education Bachelors Degree preferred.
