Main Duties
Identifies, develops and assesses candidates utilizing creative sourcing and research strategies
Builds networks and relationships through industry contacts, colleagues, trade groups, etc. to identify active and passive candidates
· Proficiency in developing and executing upon targeted search strategies utilizing online recruiting/sourcing tools including but not limited to LinkedIn, Hoovers, Zoominfo and the internet to identify and recruit the very best candidates.
Cold call target companies for candidate/pipeline development
· Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leaders.
· Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
· Provide complete, accurate, and opportunistic information to candidates about the company and position.
· Prescreens, assesses and qualifies candidates.
· Uses effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed, appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form, and timeliness.
Required Knowledge
· BA/BS degree
· An expert level of knowledge in recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, and the due diligence of potential candidates.
· Must be able to manage competing demands, accept constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
· Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills are required.
· Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions.
· Success in recruiting on a national, multi-location level.
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
· Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of applications and email.
· Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures
Required Experience
· 5+ years experience in executive sourcing and candidate development ideally in the life sciences/healthcare industry
Experience in developing innovative ways to research talent pools with emphasis on networking, warm calling and cold calling.
Experience in retained search and/or executive level corporate staffing required.
· Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases
