Recruit qualified, talented, and motivated candidates in an effort to support field operations and customer care activities, teams, efforts, and strategies, and to promote optimal customer service. Serve as Midcontinent's professional representative when dealing with applicants, internal customers and team members.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Support the mission, vision, and values of Midcontinent Communications. Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and internal customers. Actively recruit competent candidates with the potential to meet or exceed Midcontinent quality standards and to support the vision and strategies of the Customer Service and Field Operations Teams. Function as an effective team member; support the efforts and concepts of other departments including, but not limited to: Sales, Engineering, Construction, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Operations, Technology and the Media Group. Apply personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility and confidentiality in all areas of responsibility. Multi-task; be able to change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. Apply a positive customer service attitude in interactions with all internal and external customers. Be able to meet the physical demands of the job within the prescribed work environment.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES : Be available to team members to provide support, guidance, and communication regarding recruiting matters. Actively source, screen, interview, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers for consideration. Proactively participate in the development of effective internal and external recruiting strategies. Successfully implement defined internal and external recruitment strategies and be responsible for following through to successful execution. Coordinate recruiting efforts with hiring managers in an effort to ensure effectiveness and satisfaction with the quality of recruiting services. Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the hiring process, including recruiting and human resources software. Successfully manage the Customer Service and Field Operations hiring processes. Actively cultivate new and existing recruiting relationships external to Midcontinent and develop effective recruiting resources and strong candidate pools. Forge effective relationships with hiring managers and internal customers in an effort to identify, clarify, and define hiring and staffing needs and provide support by assisting in accurately forecasting headcount. Successfully achieve defined recruiting goals. Compile timely and accurate daily, monthly and yearly reports as requested. Effectively communicate with other departments to handle any escalating applicant issues in a timely manner. Adhere to company privacy guidelines to ensure each applicant's and employee's privacy is protected. Adhere to and posses a working knowledge of all employment practices and regulations as they relate to recruiting and hiring efforts. Interview candidates for open positions, being mindful of EEO laws, federal and state regulations, and company policy. Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelors Degree required. Three years minimum recruiting experience with a proven track record of successful placements.
