ATMI promotes a culture that engages employees and fosters growth and development, while offering compensation programs that reward outstanding performance.Job Overview:ATMI is seeking a seasoned Recruiting Manager who will be responsible for the overall global recruitment process coupled with a high degree of hands-on recruitment. This individual will manage a small U.S. recruiting team directly and recruiters/HR partners in global locations indirectly. A large portion of this position is full life cycle recruiting which requires developing excellent relationships with hiring manager and senior management as well as candidates. A wide degree of creativity, near- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding and personal organization is required. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting across all functions and, ideally, will have recruited internationally. This is an amazing opportunity to be a viewed as a valuable partner to the business in global hiring needs. You will be able to remain hands-on with recruiting but stretch yourself to learn an enormous amount about global recruitment as well as semiconductor materials and life sciences. The position will report to the Vice President of Human Resources and work in a matrix organization. This position will be located in one of the following locations: Round Rock, Texas; Tempe, Arizona; or Danbury, Connecticut.Primary Responsibilities: Outline strategic direction and best practices for global recruitment; Work as a partner with both the Talent Acquisition team and internal HR community; Push to continuously improve the global recruitment process; Effectively network and influence others within a highly-matrixed organization; Successfully manage and develop a team of recruiters; Work across global lines to improve recruitment processes, taking into account cultural differences; Write detailed job profiles, ensuring an understanding of job requirements/success factors; Work the entire life cycle of recruitment: identifying candidates, guiding them through the interview process, extending offers, negotiating salaries, conducting background screens, onboarding; Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates; Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house ATS to identify and recruit the very best candidates; Create and foster relationships with colleges and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates; Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates, searches, manager feedback and other recruiting activities to ensure a thorough audit if required; Participate in the development of ongoing, creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies; Build a pipeline of key talent to respond to growth of organization; Identify and participate in networking activities such as career fairs and industry conferences to recruit talent and build relationships; Give presentations and conduct interview training to build leader skill in talent acquisition techniques; Ability to travel 10%. Education/Experience: Undergraduate degree strongly preferred; Minimum of 5 years recruiting experience on a local, regional or national basis, some of which must have been in a corporate setting; International recruiting background strongly preferred; Proven success and knowledge of full life cycle recruiting (semiconductor or scientific experience given high priority); Prior experience managing a team is required; Ability to hit the ground running with proven sourcing strategies; Possess a solid background in Microsoft applications, applicant tracking systems and the internet; Knowledge of US immigration, H-1B, L-1, TN labor certification processes a plus; Previous experience working in an external recruitment agency strongly desired.
