This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment at our Morris Illinois site. Position will be required to hold weekly safety trainings, complete monthly safety inspections, actively take part in safety committee meetings, and assist with any program changes/implementation. This position will require a flexible work schedule in addition to strong interpersonal and organizational skills.? Responsible for EHS Compliance at our Morris site? Work alongside managers/employees on EHS issues? Develop Corrective Action Plans with Company Safety Director? Assist in coordination, planning and facilitating training seminars for Northfield Morris staff? Educates staff via weekly safety trainings in English & Spanish? Assist in Accident Management? Coordinate/lead Safety Committee meetings monthly? Weekly coaching on Lockout/Tagout and procedural audits? Performs weekly/monthly inspections at each plant:?X Stormwater Inspections?X Site Audits?X Compliance Programs?X Hazard Analysis - JSA? Trend, analyze accidents for trends and prevention measures? Learn and operate plant tools/equipment? Recognize safety hazards or unsafe work practices and develop Corrective Action Plans? Travel offsite for educational opportunities and corporate safety meetings? Research competitive products that could provide cost savings and safety-added benefits? Maintain an open line of communication with Northfield s Safety Director and management?
