SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
With guidance and support from the Director of Service Delivery, the incumbent utilizes and manages volunteers to ensure the marketing, sales, and delivery of health and safety courses (first aid, CPR, etc.), product sales (first aid kits, teaching equipment, etc.), manages delegated community relationships (generally day-to-day operational contacts with training partners such as off site training locations and professional associations), supports customers in determining product and training solutions to meet their safety related needs, and ensure a customer focused business model. Work outside of regularly scheduled office hours may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Any combination of training, education and work experience equivalent to a Bachelor?s Degree in Public Administration, Business, Sales & Marketing or community services field.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years of successful experience work with program management or program coordination is required. Experience in the supervision of paid and volunteer staff required. Prior experience in a not-for-profit organization is also preferred.
