This position will ensure the facility's compliance with pertinent governmental regulations such as OSHA and with company policies / procedures such as Kiewit's Health Safety Standards.  Responsibilities include the following: *  Monitors construction safety policies, procedures, programs, standards, and design *  Assists in implementing metrics for tracking and reporting on performance issues  *  Reviews Work Plans and Health & Safety for accuracy and conformance with standards *  Determines cause of unsafe conditions and injury claims through procedure, equipment / facilities inspection and worker observation. This includes identifying safety and environmental violations by company, subcontractors, etc. and offering corrective measures for those violations.
