Provide assistance in case management., health promotion, regulatory compliance, (OSHA, FMLA, ADA, etc.) and risk reduction activities for the location.Key Accountabilities:Assessment, treatment, follow up, referral and emergency care for bothoccupational and non-occupational injuries and illnessesCase management of workers compensation claims.Manage early return to work program.Integral partner in driving safety within the facility and ensuring compliance with the safety program.Monitoring compliance with Macys Logistics safety program and OSHA regulations, including required record keeping, documentation and presentation of results.Establish and maintain wellness program including education and health promotion.Counseling and intervention with associates as needed.Serve as an active permanent member of safety committee.Provide expertise and support to process managementteam(s) either as a subject matter expert or team member.Establish a business partnership with the location to impact claims, work related injuries and overall safety, health and wellness of the associate population.Establish regular communication with all levels of the organization.Responsible for compliance with drug testing policies.Responsible for medical drug testing aspects of power equipment licensing.Communicate and share programs/ideas with other nurses in the network.Coordinate facility training of first response teams.Provide recommendations for the improvement of safety and health within the facility.Any other function management deems essential.
