Job Title: Trainer, Region Safety

Description:
The Regional Safety Trainer ensures the provision of effective safety training for customers and supports RSC's value proposition by scheduling, conducting, and monitoring regional safety training programs.   Essential Functions:    Trains customer's employees on required safety training programs and other safety training as necessary. Orders training materials, prepares classes, and maintains all class documentation. Conducts train-the-trainer sessions on safety training programs for delivery to equipment operators. Conducts and coordinates instructor and operator training for customer's employees.   Coaches, trains, and mentors instructors and region personnel. Provides region training support when needed to Master Instructor trainees and equipment operators. Participates in sales calls to support account acquisition and revenue growth.   Maintains internal regional training network.   Provides progress and status reports to all levels of region management and personnel as required.Minimum of one year's experience in conducting safety training for equipment operators required. Experience conducting train-the-trainer programs is preferred.   Completion of high school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.   Demonstrated mastery of RSC Safety Training program and content delivery is required. Maintenance of current Master Instructor status for RSC safety training programs is required. Familiarity with OSHA, ANSI, and MSHA requirements with associated training programs such as Aerial Work Platforms, Forklifts (Powered Industrial Trucks) and annual OSHA training topics is required. Familiarity with other earth moving equipment training is preferred. Proven, excellent communication and presentation skills are required. Completion of RSC's "Presentation Skills Workshop" within 30 days of employment is required.   Basic skills in Microsoft Office products are required.   Valid driver's license is required.    Must be able to sit for long periods of time.   70% travel may be required.
