We're OperationsInc, a Human Resources Outsourcing and Consulting firm, based in Stamford, Connecticut. Celebrating our ninth year in business in 2010, we've been supporting businesses by handling HR project work, as well as taking over the entire HR function on an outsourced basis. We have a base of over 400 clients and growing reaching 18 States and 7 different countries, supported by our team of over 20 experienced HR professionals. Due to recent growth, we are seeking to add Corporate Trainer to our team. In this newly created role you will be responsible for supporting the needs clients, who mostly operate in the CT/NY Metro market. Our plan is to secure a new resource for this role and then actively market this new in-house capability to our base of clients. NOTE – This is a VERY UNIQUE client base and therefore requires specific attention paid to the profile below. CLIENT and PROJECT PROFILE · Clients would be mostly firms with 50-200 employees who will “tolerate” the following in terms of training: o 2-3 hour sessions max o Typical training event will cover ONE session only, with some exceptions o Seeking basics, proportional to the needs of a small business o Low budget --- Our classes run anywhere from $500 to $2,500 max per class, which is driven by the typical budget our clients are willing to allocate for these endeavors · Some customization is done per client · We estimate that no more than 2-4 hours is invested prior to each class to prepare · Presentation would be Live at the client site (mostly in NY Metro) or via Webinar (we have the platform setup) based on client’s needs · Travel to and from local clients is generally NOT reimbursed UNLESS it is outside of a 90 mile radius of Stamford. · We have a training room (holds 10) in Stamford that could be used as needed · Some opportunity to run Open to the Public style classes in our Stamford office for the most popular class types · Materials typically would be self produced in PPT and provided to the client for reproduction and distribution · Any content produced / utilized would be the property of OperationsInc Sound interesting? If so here’s the profile of the resource we are seeking, as well as the terms we are prepared to offer: · Experienced Corporate / Management Training Consultant (minimum 5 years experience) handling both Live and Web-based training · Must be able to produce 5 clients as references for your recent work · Perform this work as either an hourly employee, per diem or possibly a 1099. · Compensation levels would equate out to no more than 50% of what is being charged to the client (see above) · Administrative support to coordinate all sessions would be provided by OperationsInc · OperationsInc would take care of the billing, contract with the client, marketing, etc. · MUST be able to seamlessly develop and deliver training using the parameters referenced here that are proportional to the audience, within stated price guidelines · Experience / Comfort with curriculum focused on small business issues · Areas of focus would include: o Management skills (all areas – focus on small business management issues) o Harassment Awareness and Prevention o Interviewing / Assessments o Liability Limitation / HR Law for non-HR professionals o Diversity / Dealing with a diverse workforce / Tolerance o Managing a multi-cultural workforce o Performance Management (basics for smaller businesses) For employees we offer a very unique and generous package of employee benefits and perks for a business our size including medical insurance, STD/LTD, Life, 401K, PTO, as well as company paid lunch and refreshments.
