We are seeking a Director of Training who will be responsible for providing day to day aspects of learning design and delivery for the regional training curriculums. Partnership with Global Training ( Geneva ) to assure consistent process and assure compliance and record keeping. Responsible for generalist support of ASI and Industrial business units. · Curriculum development, delivery and sustainment of training programs. · Identify, through various analysis tools and methods, core developmental needs, make recommendations for the best approach to address needs, programs or improvement of existing programs. · While partnering with Global HR ( Geneva ), implement and coordinate global trainings and activities for the regional training programs, such as SGS Code of Integrity, Management Passport, Sexual Harassment, and other programs as they may be developed · Keep all documents and records of development for region. · Research and contract outside service for development and delivery of training programs achieving the most financially effective costing. · Determine, develop, and implement record processes to assure compliance and data base develop · Survey/ collect regional data for trends and needs within all business units and set strategies to build curriculum development. Initiate and manage a curriculum path based on competency modeling and data collection. · Keep informed and advise Sr. VP HR, COO and ROC members to ensure regional compliance with Federal, State and local laws related to training as well as needs throughout NAM workforce. BU Generalist · Provide technical knowledge, support and counsel to specific Business Unit Leaders and BU Management. · Work with BU heads on all human capital issues including: employee relations, organizational development and design, compensation review, sales bonus programs, recruiting and employee development, etc. · Work with BU heads to optimize employee commitment and engagement · Provide support and counsel to all employees within the specific assigned BU’s with regard to employment related issues, complaints, etc Profile: · Minimum 10 years experience in all aspects of Development Training strategies. Also at least 5 years generalist Human Resources Management: recruitment, employee relations, , management counseling, compliance administration, compensation & benefits, legislation. Skills: · Excellent communication and relational skills to be able to liaise efficiently at all levels. · Strong skills in conceiving planning, coordinating, developing training curriculum for regional needs. · Must be well organized and have a strong working knowledge of all HR generalist disciplines · Strong project management skills to deliver programs in the best economic sets possible. · Flexibility for travel including ability to travel internationally when called upon. · Ability to build trust, respect and confidentiality · Hands-on and practical approach while displaying methodical, organized and rigorous techniques. · Good balance between firmness and diplomacy. · Sense of initiative, able to work independently. · Be a change agent and model, bringing creative solutions.
