HR Intern
Halff is actively seeking an Intern for our HR team in our Richardson, TX office. The Intern will primarily focus on providing support to various HR departments: Human Capital Management (HCM) System Support, Learning and Development (L&D), Benefits Administration, as well general HR support.

What you will do:
Human Capital Management (HCM) System Support
Assist with data entry, cleansing, and validation during HCM implementation.
Help with documenting current HR processes and identifying changes for the new system.
Support user testing by helping create test cases, entering test data, and reporting issues.
Contribute to user training materials and quick-reference guides.
Provide support during go-live and post-launch troubleshooting.
Learning and Development (L&D)
Coordinate logistics for training sessions (e.g., scheduling, room setup, invitations).
Assist in creating training content and materials such as slide decks, surveys, and handouts.
Support onboarding programs by preparing materials and managing calendars.
Gather feedback from participants and help analyze survey results.
Benefits Administration
Help maintain accurate benefit enrollment records in the HCM.
Aid in organizing wellness events or benefits fairs.
Coordinate communications around benefits updates and deadlines.
General HR Support
Organize and maintain personnel files (digital and/or paper).
Help with drafting internal HR communications.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.
Research best practices or policies as assigned.
Handle other administrative tasks as needed.
What you will need:
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise good judgment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- A high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior.
Interns are paid hourly and would work full-time (40 hours/week), typically 8a-5p Monday through Friday starting June 2 - August 8.
Halff does not assist with or provide housing for Internships.
