Job Description Summary HR Project Manager The HR Project Manager serves as the lead in implementing HR programs and projects including technology implementations and enhancements. This role is a strategic partner to understand the needs of HR and work across partner functions such as HR Technology to deliver solutions. This role actively works to deliver upon the HR and HR Operations strategic roadmap, in partnership with leaders across HR. Position Responsibilities: Implements HR initiatives using strong project management methodology to ensure timely and accurate delivery Partners closely with the HR Project Analyst to deliver HR projects and initiatives Manages timelines, project scope definitions, risk assessment and project dependencies and touchpoints Provides regular status updates and ensures a clear understanding of project health across key HR and project stakeholders Leads process improvement initiatives Leads the organization and facilitation of cross-functional reviews of new and renewed Union contracts (via ServiceNow workflow) to identify and document business requirements, prioritize and request required system configuration changes Ensures and requires a strong HR user acceptance system testing and validation process - and ensures all business requirements are met Ensures adoption of solutions and projects by leveraging appropriate resources - i.e. people readiness - change management, training, communications, etc. Leverages analytics and policies to translate business problems and needs to determine the right solution approach (technical, procedural, behavioral and program changes) Builds and maintains positive relationships between HR and all business partners including senior management, technology, finance and vendors to promote project success Clearly presents concepts and solutions to technical and non-technical teams Other duties and/or projects as assigned Requirements: Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience plus 5-8 years of HR, project management and/or HR technology experience HR functional knowledge combined with technical understanding of HR systems Understanding of effective HR workflow processes Ability to organize, analyze, summarize and present data in a meaningful way Trust and integrity; ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Agile methodology project management experience preferred PMP, CSM or CSPO certification preferred HR Systems experience preferred (Workday, SNOW preferred) Physical Demands: Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.
