SUMMARY: The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for assisting in the development of strategic planning, implementation, and management for recruiting, talent, and staffing initiatives for Seaboard Triumph Foods. This position will assist in driving and direct recruitiment efforts and processes for a manufacturing operation with over 2800 employees. Ability to work closely with human resources and plant operations to assess and determine staffing needs and requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This list is not intended to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

* Responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees to find the perfect match for the company's long-term goals

* Determining selection criteria, hiring profiles, and job requirements for vacant positions

* Sourcing potential candidates through online company career portals, recruitment sites, job boards, social platforms, as well as print media, posters, and flyers, when required

* Managing hiring processes via electronic Applicant Tracking Systems

* Evaluating applications and screening candidates via calls or emails, as well as facilitating pre-interview assessments

* Compiling interview questions and conducting in-person or video call interviews with shortlisted candidates

* Preparing hiring forecasts as part of the company's strategic planning

* Documenting processes and fostering good relationships with potential candidates and past applicants

* Developing hiring strategies and procedures in line with industry trends, as well as keeping informed of advancements in the field

* Build quality relationships with external recruitment agencies and potential candidates and past applicants

* Works closely with executive leadership and plant management to review staffing goals, initiatives, recruitment effectiveness, succession planning, and retention goals and trends.

* Develop and assess recruiting initiatives, action plans, recruitment, and sourcing strategies, as well as selection techniques for all staffing and talent needs, specifically: college, non-traditional, technical, and hourly production

* Ability to develop and interpret reports on recruiting key performance indicators

* Ability to communicate to all levels in the organization and work with a diverse team

* Monitor the data in the ADP applicant tracking system

* Create approved external recruitment agencies list

* Manage/highlight/broaden company referral programs

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university preferred; or four to six years of recruiting related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and experience using applicant tracking and HRIS systems. Experience pursuing a wide variety of job boards and online recruiting methods. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders inside and outside of the organization. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as appropriate and effective social media communication skills. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret company policies and procedures. Bilingual skills a plus. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY: Must possess strong demonstrated critical thinking and judgment skills. Ability to assess people and talent.
