Position Summary
The HR Generalist provides site Human Resources support to team members and leaders. They guide and advise team members with HR transactional support using the self-service tools and HR Shared Services, support the site HR leadership with engagement and retention initiatives, and assist with new hire onboarding, new hire orientation, document management, and compliance monitoring for regulatory requirements.
Hours : Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm * This role is fully onsite *

- Creates a workplace culture where team members feel supported and cared for.
- Serves as the liaison to the team member lifecycle that includes but is not limited to, performance management, recognition, recruitment, benefits, learning and development, and may also include compensation and employee relations in collaboration with HR Shared Services.
- Leverages people analytics, KPIs, scorecards and dashboards to solve complex people opportunities across the region.
- Interprets and explains Human Resources policies, procedures, laws and regulations to leaders and team members.
- Welcomes newly hired team members to enhance their onboarding experience.
- Supports site team member engagement events, service awards and recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and engagement strategy teams.
- Partners with site leadership to develop HR strategies and initiatives to achieve business results in retention and team member engagement, soft skills development, team member recognition, and other projects as needed.
- Delivers a variety of training programs including but not limited to site orientation programs.
- Performs compliance monitoring for regulatory requirements.
- Provides HR Shared Services support with data collection for compliance tasks and dispute resolution requests.
- Coordinates and conducts benefit information enrollment sessions, in addition to benefit vendor site coordination tasks.
- Assists team members, in partnership with HR Shared Services, with leave of absences, worker’s compensation, and reasonable accommodation inquiries.
- Supports the site HR Business Partner and HR site leadership and serves as an additional employee relations support.
- Ensures compliance with all policies and processes, while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
- Performs all duties as assigned.

- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulation.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four (4) years of Human Resources experience may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree. This is in addition to any years of experience required in the Experience section.
- Three (3) years’ experience in Human Resources or related field required.
