CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

Conducts detailed analysis of compensation packages, including base pay, incentives, and benefits, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with institutional standards. Collects, maintains, and analyzes compensation-related data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and adherence to privacy regulations. Assists in the development and implementation of compensation policies, procedures and guidelines, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Conducts market benchmarking studies to evaluate the competitiveness of compensation and recommend adjustments as necessary. Develops and manages financial models to assess the impact of compensation strategies on the institutions budget and long-term financial health. Works closely with academic leadership, HR, and finance teams to address compensation-related issues and provides strategic guidance. Prepares and presents comprehensive reports on compensation trends, variances, and recommendations to stakeholders. Ensures all compensation programs comply with internal policies, accreditation requirements, and applicable labor laws. Serves as a resource by addressing compensation -related inquiries and clarifying institutional policies. Monitors emerging trends and best practices in compensation and propose innovative solutions to enhance institutional strategies. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field

Master's Degree ( Preferred )

Experience:

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment.

Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications.

Department Specific Functions

Helps ensure the accuracy and timely dissemination of operational dashboard reports and other standard management information.

Provides analytical support for designated compensation special projects as assigned.

Produces analyses to inform the annual budget planning process, helping to ensure the creation of accurate, realistic, and optimized fiscal year budgets.

Develops recommendations for strengthening compensation plan.

Assists stakeholders with the interpretation of compensation plan results, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Maintains accuracy of faculty compensation data utilized by multiple parties.

Effectively leads and drives complex department-wide compensation projects to ensure the organization's strategic objectives are achieved.
