As a Recruiter , you'll be at the forefront of our recruitment efforts, helping us attract top-tier talent from across the nation. You'll be the mastermind behind creating captivating job postings, managing requisitions, and providing invaluable support to our recruitment team. Your knack for problem-solving, coupled with your stellar work ethic and sense of humor, will ensure that we not only meet but exceed our hiring goals while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Crafting and maintaining compelling job postings across various platforms both internally and externally to attract top talent.
  • Tracking job posting requests and approvals, developing requisitions, and ensuring accuracy within our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Providing support to Senior Recruiters throughout the hiring process with application review, passive sourcing, interview appointment scheduling, job offers, candidate communication, updating systems, etc.
  • Assisting with development of progress updates and/or reports including but not limited to open and filled requisition counts, application volume, candidate pipeline, hiring costs, time to fill, sourcing success levels and challenges, recruitment market data, etc.
  • Providing routine updates, follow-up, and assistance to hiring managers regarding the recruitment sourcing, candidate selection and onboarding process and timelines.
  • Leveraging company social media platforms, resume search licenses and website registrants to help promote opportunities and engage talent pools.
  • Researching, identifying, and participating in career events and job fairs.
  • Establishing local connections and grass roots recruitment initiatives.
  • Fostering college/university relationships and establishing career paths for student populations.
  • Participating in company hosted on-site hiring events.
  • Assisting with application review and prescreen interviews to identify candidates of interest.
  • Maintaining professionalism and integrity in all interactions both internally and externally.
  • Assisting with management and timely response to human resources inboxes and contact forms.
  • Assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualification Required:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in human resources or a closely related field of study preferred.
  • Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a PHR, SHRM-CP or similar human resources credential preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 yrs prior experience working in human resources, talent acquisition or related business function; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in human resources software and online recruiting platforms (UltiPro, SharePoint preferred).
  • Prior experience and/or knowledge in the use of online job boards and social media platforms such as Indeed, Glassdoor, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Prior experience working within or in support of the education industry highly preferred.
  • Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
  • History of success building credibility , effectively managing multiple projects and collaborating across all organizational levels.
  • Collaborative team player who is innovative, demonstrates self-confidence, focuses on execution and finds motivation in their impact to the organization.
  • Comfortable taking initiative, embraces feedback and is committed to ongoing self -improvement.
  • Well-versed in the use of relevant technology including experience with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, database entry and basic office equipment.
