We’re seeking a well-rounded HR Manager/Generalist who will serve as both a strategic partner and people operational expert. In this role, you’ll shape the organization’s HR strategy while also rolling up your sleeves to handle the core HR functions that keep our people supported and our business compliant. You’ll lead efforts in talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, training, and culture-building initiatives, making a direct impact on the employee life cycle experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and long-term growth.
- Monitor workforce trends and deliver practical, people-centered solutions.
- Lead DEI initiatives that enhance inclusivity and engagement across all levels.
Core HR Functions
- Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding with a focus on attracting and retaining top talent.
- Administer benefits, performance management, and employee development programs.
- Support and guide employees and managers on workplace concerns, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Maintain and enhance HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity) and workflows for optimal efficiency.
Compliance & Policy Management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Develop and update policies that support a positive workplace and mitigate risk.
- Conduct internal HR audits and collaborate with external partners as needed.
Culture & Engagement
- Lead initiatives that boost employee morale, recognition, and professional growth.
- Act as a culture ambassador—promoting collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement.
- Design and deliver employee communications that keep teams informed and connected.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
- Certification with SHRM or HRCI – SPHR or SCP.
- 5+ years of experience in a blended strategic and tactical HR role, preferably in the Healthcare industry.
- Solid understanding of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to balance high-level planning with day-to-day HR responsibilities.
- Ability to pivot priorities, workload, and projects.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as a collaborative team member.

- A hands on approach when working with an hourly workforce.
