Who You Are:

As the Director, Talent Acquisition, you will lead and oversee the company's recruitment efforts, strategies, and initiatives. You will be responsible for designing and implementing effective hiring processes to attract and retain top talent, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and building strong relationships with internal business units and executive leadership. Your excellent communication and leadership skills enable you to effectively lead a team of Talent Acquisition Partners focused on providing dedicated support aimed at achieving business goals and meeting growth expectations. You are proactive, resourceful, and dedicated to continuous improvement, always seeking innovative solutions to streamline the HR Talent Acquisition functions.

  • Deliver expertise, consultation and strategic direction in all areas related to talent management.
  • Lead, coach and empower the Talent Acquisition team to deliver consistent, high-quality, forward-looking hiring outcomes.
  • Drive a proactive approach to talent-embedding workforce planning, pipelining, and data-led decision-making.
  • Partner with senior leadership and HR team and business leaders to align recruitment strategies with long-term talent and business priorities to support our goals.
  • Enhance candidate and hiring manager experience while maintaining operational excellence and consistency.
  • Partner with the AVP of HR and offer counsel and a strategic outlook for the business.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by aligning talent management strategies with organizational values, defining and promoting leadership behaviors that exemplify these values, and ensuring a cohesive employee experience that drives engagement and retention.
  • Shape and elevate our employer brand in the market.
  • Utilize talent metrics and trends to provide actionable insights, guiding our strategic decisions and helping us to proactively make talent decisions.
  • Develop change management tools and processes that encourage a sustainable and relevant approach to talent.
  • Complete other projects as directed and assigned by senior leadership.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including experience as a people leader.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees at all levels.

  • Experience with scaling HR processes and building teams from the ground up.

  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, and employment laws and regulations.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively to solve recruitment challenges and achieve business objectives.

  • Competence to run conversations at the executive level as well as minutely drive the talent acquisition teams across all locations.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to independently run day-to-day recruitment operations and plan, execute and deliver on the strategic initiatives.

  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software tools.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

  • Uncompromising integrity and ethics; must be highly trustworthy.

  • Teamwork approachability to work effectively with other Lifestyle companies (especially Development, Construction, Home, and Hospitality business units).

  • A highly organized, self-directed, and self-motivated mindset.

Direct Reports and Reporting Relationship

  • This role will directly manage the Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner and TA department. This includes achieving results by working with others within the organization, regardless of the reporting relationship.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in talent acquisition and/or human resources, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior role with the ability to influence and partner with senior executives and department heads.
  • Experience working in the real estate, property management, or hospitality industry is desired.
