Opportunity

The Sr HR Generalist serves as astrategic partner to the Category Strategy and Finance organizations in theKitchen and Bath North America business unit, aligning HR initiatives withorganizational goals. The Sr HRG provides expertise in talent management,employee relations, performance management, and organizational development todrive business success. This role collaborates with leadership to foster apositive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to understand their objectives and provide HR solutions that support business goals, including workforce planning and organizational design.
  • Talent Management: Drive recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent. Partner with managers to identify skill gaps and develop training programs.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, resolving conflicts, addressing grievances, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Performance Management: Support the development and implementation of performance evaluation processes, coaching managers on goal-setting, feedback, and employee development plans.
  • Change Management: Guide teams through organizational changes, such as restructures or process improvements, ensuring smooth transitions and employee engagement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, diversity) to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions to improve employee experience and business outcomes.
  • Inclusion: Champion Kohlers culture by fostering an inclusive environment and supporting programs that promote diversity.

Skills/Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Masters degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Proven ability to influence and coach leaders on HR and business matters.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and talent management strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using HR metrics to drive decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Technology: Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., SAP & Workday), Microsoft Office Suite, and data analytics too
