Description

The STOUT Program has an opening for a Staffing Manager on a large language services contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire hiring process, from identifying staffing needs to onboarding new employees. S/he will develop staffing strategies and work closely with Leidos recruiters. Key duties include candidate sourcing and screening , managing the full recruitment cycle, and analyzing recruitment metrics . The successful candidate will also manage a small cadre of geographically dispersed employees across multiple countries and languages.

1- Responsibilities:

  • Program Management Office: Primary interface with the Leidos Program Manager (PM), Deputy Program Manager (DPM), and customer leadership. Requires direct customer coordination relating to a cadre of geographically dispersed employees with minimal guidance from the PM/DPM. Provide back-up support for all planning and coordination of deployment scheduling and travel reimbursement processing.

  • Develop staffing plans: Create a comprehensive strategy to meet the customer's current and future staffing needs.

  • Project future needs: Forecast staffing requirements based on the customers mission needs.

  • Collaborate with recruiters/hiring managers: Understand specific job requirements and expectations for each position and stay current on industry trends and best practices to improve recruitment processes.

  • Build professional networks: Establish connections with HR professionals, educational institutions, and other partners.

  • Attend job fairs and hiring events: Represent the company and network with potential candidates.

  • Manage job postings: Create and manage job descriptions and postings.

  • Manage Applicant Tracking Systems: Utilize spreadsheets and/or software to streamline the recruitment process and track candidates.

  • Screen resumes and applications: Assess candidates' qualifications and experience and suitability for positions supporting customers.

  • Conduct initial interviews: Evaluate candidates' skills, knowledge, and cultural fit.

  • Language testing: Schedule, track, proctor, and support English testing of language services candidates as well as schedule target language tests with third party company and manage application submissions to customer office.

  • Manage onboarding Ensure a smooth transition for new hires, including training and integration into the team.

2- Security Clearance Requirements:

  • The Staffing Manager position requires a current TS/SCI w/polygraph security clearance.

3- Education Requirements:

  • BA degree and 8 12 years of prior relevant experience and/or military training, or Masters with 6 10 years of prior relevant experience. Linguistic studies and/or proficiency in a foreign language are highly valued .

4- Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of U.S. Government and intelligence operations

  • Ability to work well in a multicultural environment

  • Working knowledge of a foreign language , foreign cultures, and international issues valued but not required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

5- Guidelines on Residence/Travel:

Possible CONUS travel required in furtherance of recruiting duties

Pay Range: Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
