Job Description


HR Representative/Executive Assistant Responsibilities Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements for the CEO. Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents. Serve as the liaison between the CEO and external stakeholders. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Organize and coordinate executive-level meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking. Assist with other departments as needed for projects and events. Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and offboarding. Ensure proper record keeping, facilitate company-wide communication, and assist with wage and salary administration. Manage the company's leave of absence and workplace accommodation requests. Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Serve as the point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and ensuring fair resolution. Manage benefits administration, payroll coordination, and employee records. Ensure compliance with labor laws, EEO regulations, and workplace safety standards. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals. Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, training, and development programs. Essential Skills 5+ years of Executive Assistant/Office Manager experience, including supporting executive leadership, calendar management, minute-taking, and presentations. 5+ years of HR experience, including onboarding, benefits administration, performance reviews, recruitment, and accommodation requests. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, BambooHR). Work Environment This position is 100% onsite with working hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The office environment is located at the headquarters in Bethesda, MD. The company is a small, women-owned government contractor with under 100 employees, providing exposure to all levels of leadership. The company boasts over 30 years of experience in manufacturing, business development, and providing solutions to military forces and public safety in a state-of-the-art facility.
