We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training and Development Manager to join our Human Resources team. This role is essential to the development of our workforce and the advancement of our organizational culture. The successful candidate will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of company-wide learning programs, working closely with leaders across departments to identify skill gaps and create impactful training solutions.
In addition to overseeing training strategy, this position will support broader Human Resources initiatives, including onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and policy development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and manage a strategic training and development roadmap aligned with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and create customized programs.
- Partner with managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to build job specific training and resources.
- Develop onboarding, technical, soft skills, and leadership training content.
- Partner with managers to establish internal certification programs for key roles and ensure documentation of training completions.
- Oversee LMS administration including course uploads, learner enrollment, system configurations, and analytics.
- Support managers and employees in creating development plans and tracking progress.
- Assist in onboarding processes to ensure new hires receive timely and effective training and orientation.
- Support HR compliance training initiatives.
- Help maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Participate in broader HR projects such as performance management, workforce planning, and other initiatives.
- Serve as a resource for employee questions related to training, career development, and learning tools.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure training effectiveness and ROI.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in training and development, with demonstrated success in designing and implementing training programs.
- Experience selecting, launching, and managing a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships across departments.
- Familiarity with general HR functions and a willingness to support broader HR initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a growing or multi-site organization.
- Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPTD, APTD, SHRM).
- Experience creating digital learning content using tools such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
Physical Capabilities and Requirements:
- Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation while using a computer and standard office equipment for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, such as training materials, equipment, or supplies.
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time to company locations or offsite events to conduct or support training programs, meetings, or other HR related activities. Travel may include overnight stays.
Compensation Details: The expected base salary for this position is starting at $60,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience.
