Job Description

At The RiteScreen Company, we know great products start with great people—and that building a strong, compliant, and connected workplace culture doesn’t happen by accident. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for an experienced, bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Manager who’s ready to lead with confidence, support a diverse workforce across multiple locations, and ensure we stay ahead of the curve on compliance.

This role blends strategy with day-to-day problem-solving. It requires independence, accountability, and the ability to engage with employees at all levels. If you enjoy working directly with plant leadership, navigating multi-state operations, and building positive, high-performing teams, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to drive hiring strategies across locations.
  • Lead onboarding processes that set the right tone from day one.
  • Translate policies and materials into Spanish to ensure full understanding across the workforce.
  • Support workforce planning and organizational changes aligned with operational goals.

Employee Relations & Workplace Culture

  • Be a trusted, visible HR partner to plant leadership.
  • Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and conduct investigations in both English and Spanish.
  • Ensure consistency in policies, communications, and disciplinary actions across sites.
  • Help create a respectful, inclusive workplace where employees feel supported and informed.

Compliance & Policy Administration

  • Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including California’s complex employment regulations.
  • Translate and deliver policies, notices, and communications in Spanish as needed.
  • Conduct thorough, compliant investigations in both languages.
  • Collaborate with EH&S to ensure safety communications are clearly understood by all employees.

Training, Development & Performance Management

  • Develop and deliver HR training sessions in English and Spanish.
  • Customize and manage LMS configurations.
  • Support leadership development, performance management, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Coach plant leaders on employee development and performance conversations.

HR Metrics & Systems

  • Track and report on key HR metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure system data integrity.
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure proper classification and wage compliance

What We’re Looking For

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi-site or multi-state support.
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, with a focus on California compliance.
Full fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
Demonstrated success handling employee relations, investigations, and coaching.
HR experience in manufacturing or hourly workforce environments.
Familiarity with HRIS platforms and LMS tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with independence and attention to detail.

Preferred:
PHR, SHRM-CP, or California-specific HR certification.
Experience supporting Spanish-speaking workforces.
Background building bilingual training and development programs.
