Responsibilities
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, job duties include:
- Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and recommend top talent for both exempt and nonexempt positions, with a particular focus on DOT-regulated roles.
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews, coordinate assessments, perform reference and background checks, and extend offers.
- Deliver detailed employment offers including compensation, benefits, and compliance-related information (e.g., non-compete agreements).
- Serve as a subject matter expert on DOT hiring regulations, ensuring full compliance with federal and state laws.Utilize creative and traditional sourcing methods including job fairs, online recruiting platforms, networking events, and social media.
- 5 years’ experience in corporate recruitment , with at least 3 years recruiting for DOT-regulated roles .
- Demonstrated knowledge of electronic applicant systems and internet-based recruiting tools.
- In-depth knowledge of DOT hiring and compliance regulations.
