Brown & Brown is seeking a Benefits Analyst to join our growing team in Plano, TX.

The Benefits Analyst collaborates with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely resolution of client needs, including benefit plan updates, reporting requests, and vendor coordination. Reviews and interprets utilization trends and plan performance to support client discussions and renewal preparation. Assists in developing plan design recommendations and ensures smooth implementation of benefit changes, always prioritizing client satisfaction and operational excellence.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Meeting preparation and takeaways

  • Account and action log management

  • Client folder organization and management

  • OE meeting prep and presentation

  • OE documents review and completion

  • Escalated claims issue resolution

  • Vendor implementation and calls

  • RFP buildout and marketing submission

  • Fee/commission submission

  • Benefits Client Spotlight and maintenance

  • Assist Consultants with client deliverables

  • Meeting preparation and printing

  • BAM Maintenance

  • Document review and preparation

  • Partner System Management

Licensure and Certification:

  • Must obtain and maintain active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License within a year

Skills and Experience to be Successful:

  • Minimum of 4-year degree or equivalent work experience required.

  • 3+ years employee benefits experience with a thorough understanding and knowledge of employee benefits

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Microsoft Excel - Strong to Expert level skills

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and exercise judgment

  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills

  • Strong knowledge of and relationships with vendors

  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a proactive approach to meeting client service requirements
