Job Description
Assignment Details:
- Duration: 2 months (potential to extend based on needs)
- Schedule: Mon-Fri,open for part time or full time (40 hours per week)
- Work Environment: Hybrid schedule. Office located downtown Indianapolis. Recruiter would be expected to work onsite 1-2 days per week.
Position Summary:
This temporary position will support the recruiting team with critical coordination and sourcing activities. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and confident working independently. Youll help drive an efficient hiring process by supporting both internal managers and external candidates.
Key Responsibilities:Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams
Serve as a liaison between hiring managers and external staffing agencies; maintain job postings and candidate flow
Source candidates for lower-level professional and administrative roles using job boards (e.g., Indeed) and LinkedIn
Conduct initial screening interviews and assess basic qualifications
Participate in intake meetings with hiring managers to understand job requirements
Track candidate activity and maintain records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Communicate regularly with candidates regarding updates, feedback, next steps, and scheduling
Work closely with hiring managers to drive timely feedback, support interview coordination, and provide market insights
12 years of recruiting, HR coordination, or administrative experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience sourcing candidates through Indeed and LinkedIn
Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
Strong communication skills , including:
Providing timely updates to candidates
Coordinating with hiring managers to ensure process momentum and gather feedback
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Familiarity with ATS systems and Microsoft Office
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individuals skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the companys 401(k) retirement plan.
