Summary Responsible for maintaining the reception and mail areas, greeting customers, answering and distributing incoming calls, and general administrative duties that support the Human Resources department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer and distribute all incoming calls in a timely and courteous fashion and in accordance with company policies.
- Greet customers, vendors, applicants and any other visitors, and announce their arrival to the appropriate person/people.
- Maintain the reception and mail areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the mail center (ensure correct postage on outgoing mail, sort incoming mail, distribute incoming mail, collect money for personal postage, etc.).
- Prepare overnight package to be sent to our corporate office.
- Maintain office supply orders.
- Process Invoices
- Assemble binders for orientation and education classes as needed.
- Prepares benefit enrollment meeting packet for new hires
- Assist in the recruiting process including setting up interviews, background checks and scheduling pre-employment screenings
- Assists in employee relations support activities and event planning and coordination.
- Provide customer service to employees and guests.
- Filing, sorting and data entry for other members of Human Resources.
- Run/create HR reports in HRIS system for team
- Create and post birthday list.
- Create and mail employee birthday cards.
- Create and post employee anniversaries
- Other duties and projects as assigned

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. 1+ year experience using multi-line system. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Language Skills: Ability to speak, read and write English. Strong verbal communication skills and ability to interact with many different personality types
Other Qualifications: 2+ years of Microsoft Word and Excel experience. Ability to organize, prioritize and execute a variety of projects with little supervision.
