Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. POSITION SUMMARY

The Vice President of Human Resources will serve as a strategic partner and key member of the executive leadership team, overseeing all aspects of the talent strategy for the property. This role is responsible for leading the team member lifecycle from attraction through exit, including workforce strategy, talent management, engagement, labor relations, development, and compliance, in alignment with the property's values and business objectives.

  • Develop and execute a strategic human resources plan providing the Company with the best talent and positioning the Company as the employer of choice.
  • Participate in the development and evaluation of the property's strategic plan, incorporating initiatives and programs that impact talent.
  • Develop and execute strategies to attract, identify, and hire talent for high-volume positions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on organizational design, talent planning, compensation, and workforce trends.
  • Develop programs/policies for effective talent management, including employee relations, performance management, training and development, and career pathing.
  • Lead and modernize HR, policies, and processes for effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability, focusing on innovation and technology.
  • Guide employee engagement programs, recognition, leadership development, performance management, and succession planning efforts.
  • Track and analyze a variety of talent metrics, developing actionable insights.
  • Champion a positive workplace culture that reflects Company values, with a focus on diversity, belonging, and employee satisfaction.

  • Serve as the property's liaison and negotiator with labor unions, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and labor laws.
  • Foster strong labor-management relationships and address grievances effectively.
  • Establish credibility and trust throughout the property by leading focus groups, collecting feedback, and solving problems.
  • Partner with Corporate HR on initiatives that further the attraction, engagement, development, and retention of talent.
  • Provide technical advice and knowledge to others within the property.
  • Manage the budget and other financial measures of the Human Resources Department.
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, HR-related audits, and risk mitigation activities.

  • Oversee Human Resources, Risk Management, and Wardrobe departments.

  • A bachelors degree in human resources, business, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • At least ten (10) years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least three (3) years of experience at a senior/executive level, including recruitment, engagement, development/training, and labor relations.
  • Must have prior experience in high-volume recruiting and developing, and leading HR teams with a business partner model.
  • Must have experience working in a union environment and taken part in negotiations with the union.
  • Demonstrate abilities to meet performance expectations with communications, initiative/problem solving, guest service/interpersonal Relations, work habits and conduct, and Responsible Gaming/Business Ethics.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to craft and effectively present information to a variety of audiences.
  • Extensive knowledge of principles, theories, and practices of human resources management.
  • PHR or SPHR professional designation preferred.
  • Masters degree in human resources preferred.
  • Prior experience in the gaming industry experience preferred.
