Human Resources Manager

Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team.

This position is a key member of the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants Human Resources Department and will play an integral role in managing Human Resources functions specifically for Rusty Bucket (RB) locations.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who ensures all RB locations operate in alignment with our culture while maintaining compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations. This role also partners closely with Operations to support, develop, and retain top talent across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR leader for Rusty Bucket, ensuring cultural alignment and legal compliance across all locations.
• Partner with the Operations Team to develop and support Associates and Managers.
• Provide Associate Relations guidance, including performance management, discipline, investigations, and terminations.
• Conduct HR audits, exit interviews, and follow-up action planning.
• Support and participate in all RB training initiatives, including facilitating HR-related training sessions.
• Collaborate with Recruiting and Marketing on employment branding and advertising strategies.
• Manage recruitment activities, including applicant pre-screening, interview coordination, and support for the Future Leader Program.
• Track and support Workers’ Compensation cases and reporting.
• Lead new Manager onboarding and HR orientation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in restaurants and/or hospitality.
• At least 3 years management experience or progressive Human Resources experience as a Generalist and/or Manager.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and UKG software.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• The ability to travel at least 1 week per month.
