We are looking for a Sr. Human Resources Generalist (Sr. Generalist) who will join our Sales HR team. This role will support our Field Sales Team across the US.
The position is based in Marysville, Ohio with the option for flexible remote work.
The Sr. Generalist has accountability for day-to-day HR activities for our US Field Sales team. This role reports to the HR Manager, and is part of a high performing HR Business Partner team. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR background in a field-based, sales, or customer-facing environment, and a proven track record of designing and implementing people strategies that drive engagement, performance, and retention. This role requires a proactive partner who can align HR initiatives with the unique needs of a geographically dispersed salesforce, ensuring the team is equipped to achieve business growth and deliver exceptional results in the marketplace.
What You'll Do:Provide guidance and support to supervisors and managers on associate relations issues, policy interpretation, problem solving, FMLA, ADA, worker compensation and leave of absence administration.
Act as a liaison between the Talent Acquisition team and the business assisting with full cycle recruitment as well our seasonal temporary hiring program.
Assist managers with performance management processes, including goal setting, talent planning and annual evaluations.
Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and ensure timely processing of transactions.
Assist with HR Projects: participates on project teams and/or works independently on a variety of projects including the development of new policies, programs, performance management, succession planning, and training. Assist with implementing HR programs such as benefits enrollment, merit increases, and talent development activities.
Support employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and communication initiatives for the sales team
Help and partner with Employee Relations team to address employee relations concerns by gathering information, documenting issues, and escalating
A self starter who operates well independently and in a team environment.
A strategic and tactical contributor by delivering comprehensive, practical human resource solutions to the managers and associates.
A talent scout- identifying opportunities to upgrade our talent, both internally and externally; communicating and training leaders on appropriate talent development techniques and forums.
An ambassador of our culture- inspiring all to bring their best daily and living/leading our values.
An experienced HR professional- ideally with 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist type role and a Bachelors degree.
Energized by high change environments and is comfortable with ambiguity.
A problem solver- using creative avenues to solve problems, demonstrating both breadth and depth; demonstrating strong judgment and proven ability to diagnose issues, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills to drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative.
An experienced HR Professional in an HR Generalist type of role supporting a field-based or customer-facing workforce.
A matrixed HR support model (centers of excellence - compensation, payroll, talent management, talent acquisition, shared services, etc.) Have worked closely with the HR leadership and corporate HR on the business needs and support them by driving the implementation of compensation programs, benefits, talent management/acquisition and other needed programs.
