Job Summary
IP Pathways is seeking a hands-on Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the HR function. This role is responsible for driving HR strategy while also executing day-to-day HR operations. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, oversee employee relations and compliance, and ensure a positive and engaging employee experience. This role also manages the recruiting function, including direct oversight of a Recruiter, while remaining actively involved in hiring for key and leadership roles. Key Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on all HR-related matters
Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding
Oversee and guide the recruiting function, supporting hiring efforts for leadership and hard-to-fill roles
Partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting and workforce planning strategies
Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management support
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
Administer compensation and benefits programs, including compensation benchmarking and open enrollment
Oversee HR systems, reporting, and data accuracy
Drive employee engagement initiatives and support company culture efforts
Identify training and development needs and support learning initiatives across the organization
Requirements
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Qualifications
3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist or standalone HR role
At least 3 years of experience across talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits administration
Experience managing or leading a small team
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on across multiple HR functions
HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred
