Contract Technical Recruiter (Potential for Full-Time Conversion)
Duration: 3-6 month contract with potential to convert to full-time
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Contract Technical Recruiter to support full-cycle hiring efforts for technical and consulting-focused roles. This position is ideal for someone experienced in fast-paced environments such as staffing agencies or consulting firms, where speed, quality, and adaptability are critical.
Role Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation
Strategic Sourcing: Build pipelines of qualified candidates using advanced sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and other platforms)
Candidate Experience: Deliver a high-quality, professional experience for candidates throughout the hiring process
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand technical requirements, provide updates, and advise on market trends
Screening & Evaluation: Conduct initial interviews to assess technical qualifications and alignment with client-facing or consulting environments
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of technical recruiting experience, preferably within a staffing agency or consulting environment
Full-Cycle Expertise: Proven ability to independently manage the entire recruiting lifecycle
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and modern technology stacks (e.g., cloud platforms, data tools)
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with changing priorities
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and attract top talent
Availability: Ability to work onsite in a hybrid capacity (3 days per week)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting for specialized technical roles such as data engineering, cloud, or analytics professionals
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data technologies
Existing network of technical talent is a plus
