Full Time RTC HR Generalist
The HR Generalist administers daily employee concerns and matters in the following functional areas: Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), leaves of absence including ADA and FMLA, terminations, and unemployment. Prior experience working with multiple state locations and the ability to work closely with remote offices to ensure program compliance and employee satisfaction is preferred. This position supports an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, standards, goal attainment, and the ongoing development of a superior workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to residential employees regarding policies, benefits, and general HR questions.
- Update and create job descriptions as needed.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.
- Assist in performance management processes, including evaluations and goal tracking.
- Track residential staff licensure and annual training/testing requirements.
- Work with management to ensure annual reviews are completed and merit increases are processed timely through ExponentHR.
- Handle Leave of Absence and FMLA requests for multiple locations.
- Report workers compensation claims and maintain OSHA logs for multiple locations.
- Maintain professional boundaries with clients and interact appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate Professional in Human Resources ( aPHR ) certification or higher preferred.
- 25 years of HR experience.
- Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, EHR systems, payroll systems, and related tools.
- Strong ethics and conflict management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Valid drivers license with reliable transportation and required auto liability insurance.
- Initial and ongoing MVR verification per BayMark policy F&A-115.
- Satisfactory references.
- Satisfactory criminal background check.
- Satisfactory drug screen.
