The Human Resources Business Partner will provide proactive, hands-on HR support across Sweden, Germany, and BeNeLux. The role covers a broad range of HR activities, including onboarding, offboarding, employment documentation, benefits administration, absence management, payroll input validation, and HR compliance.

The role will also partner closely with managers on employee relations matters such as performance issues, disciplinary processes, grievances, probation reviews, absence concerns, and other workplace matters of moderate complexity. The HRBP will ensure cases are handled consistently, documented appropriately, and managed in line with local labor laws, company policies, and values, while escalating complex issues when needed.

The HRBP will collaborate with regional and global HR teams, payroll, benefits, legal, and business leaders to deliver a strong employee experience and support business goals across the region.

Main Responsibilities

HR Business Partnering

Partner with managers across Sweden, Germany, and BeNeLux on day-to-day people matters and HR processes

Provide practical HR guidance on employee lifecycle matters, team issues, and policy application

Support organizational changes, workforce planning, and team structure updates

Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, delivering timely and pragmatic HR support

Employee Relations

Manage employee relations cases of low to medium complexity, including disciplinary matters, grievances, performance concerns, attendance issues, probation follow-up, and conduct matters

Support managers with investigations, documentation, conversations, and follow-up actions

Ensure cases are handled sensitively, consistently, and in compliance with local legislation and company policy

Partner with legal, senior HR, and external advisors where needed

HR Operations & Administration

Manage onboarding and offboarding processes

Prepare employment contracts, amendments, letters, and other employee documentation

Track promotions, salary changes, transfers, and other employment updates

Monitor probation periods and ensure timely follow-up

Support absence and sick leave processes

Validate payroll inputs and ensure data accuracy

Maintain employee records and HR systems with strong data integrity and confidentiality

Support local reporting requirements and prepare headcount reports and HR metrics

Benefits, Compliance, and Projects

Support local benefits administration and liaise with vendors and brokers

Coordinate with regional/global compensation and benefits teams on renewals and updates

Ensure compliance with local labor laws, policies, and administrative requirements

Monitor legislative changes and help implement updates to HR practices

Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and employee engagement initiatives

Qualifications

Degree, diploma, or certification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Several years of progressive HR experience, including operational HR and employee relations

Experience supporting multiple countries, ideally within Sweden, Germany, and/or BeNeLux

Good understanding of local HR practices and employment law principles

Ability to manage employee relations matters independently and escalate when appropriate

Strong HR administration skills and attention to detail

Comfortable with HR systems, reporting, and payroll-related processes

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English required

Additional language skills such as Swedish, German, Dutch, or French are an advantage

Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a complex international environment

High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
