Client Overview : Our client is a luxury fashion brand known for its feminine designs, premium craftsmanship, and strong presence across both retail and ready-to-wear markets.

Role Overview: The HR Generalist will support U.S. corporate and retail teams, partnering closely with leadership to deliver core HR functions. This hands-on role focuses on employee relations, compliance, performance management, training, payroll coordination, and workplace health and safety. The position plays a key role in ensuring alignment with employment laws and fostering a productive, compliant, and engaging workplace.

HR Generalist Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR leadership and management to execute HR strategy across compliance, performance management, training, and employee relations
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain up-to-date HR policies and practices
  • Support performance management processes including goal setting, feedback, and development planning
  • Manage employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and guide disciplinary actions where needed
  • Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processes
  • Assist with compensation reviews, market analysis, and total rewards initiatives
  • Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Lead and track training programs, including onboarding and compliance training
  • Promote and manage workplace health and safety programs, including workers compensation and OSHA compliance
  • Partner cross-functionally on HR initiatives and special projects

HR Generalist Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience in retail or fashion industry preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/Payroll systems
  • Spanish language skills preferred
