Coordinate a variety of specialized complex tasks in support of processes and operations as it relates to employment and payroll processing for the District. In-person work on campus is an essential function of this position.
Essential FunctionsResponsible for operational and technical duties in the applicant tracking system to include employment application intake, screening, I-9 processing, computer entry, and file maintenance required by the College and regulatory agencies.
Assist staff and public with employment information and interpretation of personnel policies and procedures within assigned area.
Assist the Associate Director with the employment process to include preparing and conducting orientations and salary placements for the District.
Responsible for maintenance of confidential recruitment files, preparing recruitment lists, and job postings. Identify and resolve inconsistencies and other issues that might affect employment or pay.
Maintain and process employee data information in human resource information systems as it pertains to Employment Services. Assist with the United States Citizen and Immigration Services I-9 Form process and enter information in the E-Verify system.
Assist Associate Director with employee/personnel projects. Generate and maintain various reports and documents to provide current personnel information from the applicant tracking database. Assist with the background check process and process employees that are cleared to work.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
1. Associate's Degree and three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
NOTE: A copy of the transcript reflecting this required education MUST be submitted for consideration and reflect completed coursework and degrees conferred. The candidate must be fully qualified for the position at the time of application.
